AhlulBayt News Agency: The Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ military wing, released video footage on Friday showing their fighters targeting an Israeli “Musta’ribeen” undercover unit in Rafah, southern Gaza. The unit was disguised as civilians and operating under Israeli military directives.
The footage, shared on Al-Qassam’s Telegram channel, shows undercover agents cautiously navigating residential areas in eastern Rafah. They searched homes while Israeli warplanes provided aerial cover.
According to Al-Qassam, the Israeli unit was scanning for tunnels and resistance fighters.
Shortly after, the video captures Al-Qassam fighters detonating a booby-trapped house as the Israeli agents entered, causing deaths and injuries among the operatives.
Al-Qassam stated that Israeli forces have increasingly relied on undercover operatives to assist their ground invasion. These operatives have been used to plant explosives, conduct surveillance on homes, and support Israeli military operations in Rafah and other areas of Gaza. Some were filmed riding in armored vehicles while disguised as civilians.
